Today Kent and I started shooting a video for Paper Heart. The video takes place outside…the only problem is that we’re in northern Sweden and it’s -22 Degrees outside! Yowser… We’re shooting this on a vintage super 8 camera and I’m surprised that it can even handle these extreme temperatures. This is a pic of the camera after we came in from the cold.
It’s a champ! The Japanese sure know how to make a camera. We’ve mostly been shooting nature stuff today. Here’s a sample of what it looks like around here.
Pretty, ehhh? Another obstacle we have to work around is the sun light. It’s only light outside for 4 hours a day…so you really have to make your time count…and take advantage of the little time it isn’t snowing.
I have a feeling that the video is going to come out awesome and it makes it more special to us since it’s shot in our little corner of the world.
