It’s the end of a decade Love, in October fans and I want to share my greatest contribution to mankind with you…my sock collection. Some of you might have seen me sporting some of these gems at shows. I dare to say it is probably the best sock collection in the indie rock world…hell…maybe even the world for that matter. How did I get so many? It started as a gift from a friend and over the years I’ve gotten more and more. Now I try to pick up a pair whenever I go to a new city as kind of a little memory from that place.

So let’s do some sock statistics. I have 23 pairs of cool socks. Three of them are animal themed (owls, penguins, and rabbits). I have 4 pair argyle socks. I have 6 pair striped socks. The most popular color is red (4 pair). I have 2 pair with a checker pattern. The most expensive pair cost $30!!! Other random designs include the periodic table of elements, bicycles, a circuit diagram, robots, and multi-colored polka dots. But my favorite socks are a blue pair with yellow crowns on them from Stockholm, Sweden.
I’ve decided to make this an open forum and let the general public help me expand my sock collection. If you are going to a LiO show in the near future and want to help me with my collection, please bring a pair of cool socks (preferably new) to the show for me and I’ll photo them and blog about them and add them to the collection! If they are cool enough I might even wear them at the show. Thanks in advance. Happy decade everybody.
You put me to shame!! My only options for socks are: Black, or Black with Gold Toe…. I’m so ashamed….
I love them! I only have a couple pairs of cool socks, the rest are plain. I would like to start a collection in the future though. Socks Are Awesome!
